This Cookie Policy describes how Rest Over Grind LLC (referred to as “Company,” “us” or “we”) uses cookies and other similar technologies on our Site https://www.restovergrind.com/ (the “Site”), and explains our policy towards automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms.

1.      Cookies

Depending on how you use our Site, we will store cookies on your computer in order to collect certain aggregate data about our users and to customize certain aspects of your specific user experience. We will ask for your consent to allow us to use cookies.

A cookie is a small data text file which is stored on your computer or other device that uniquely identifies your browser. Cookies may also include more personalized information, such as your IP address, browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server, and your first name to welcome you back to our Site. Some cookies are stored on your computer only for the duration of the browsing session, while others are stored for longer periods of time.

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace uses cookies to administer and manage our Site (which Squarespace call Functional and Required cookies), as well as cookies used to analyze trends and track our Site’s performance (which Squarespace call Analytics and Performance cookies). Examples of the ways in which Squarespace uses Functional and Required cookies include tracking and preventing fraudulent use of your login credentials and remembering your user preferences (such as language preference), among other functions (click here for a full list of Functional and Required cookies used by Squarespace, the role of each cookie, and the length of time during which each cookie is stored on your computer). Analytics and Performance cookies help Squarespace and us analyze how the Services on our Site are being accessed and used and track the performance of our Services, among other functions (click here for a full list of Analytics and Performance cookies used by Squarespace, the role of each cookie, and the length of time during which each cookie is stored on your computer).

We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by Squarespace on an individual and aggregate basis and may use cookies to perform tasks such as monitor aggregate site usage metrics, better understand how you interact with our Site, determine interest in particular content, monitor aggregate usage by visitors and online traffic routing, store and remember your passwords (if you allow us to do so), store account and advertising preferences that you have set, and personalize the Services we make available to you.

For more information you can read Squarespace’s Cookie Policy, Squarespace’s Privacy Notice, and Squarespace’s Terms of Service. You can also find a specific list of the cookies used on Squarespace sites here

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you may be able to reset your browser to refuse cookies, to indicate when a cookie is being sent, or to remove cookies already stores on your device. However, some aspects of the Site may not function properly if you elect to disable cookies.

2.      Web Beacons

Web beacons (sometimes referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and singlepixel gifs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that are used to track the online movements of web or mobile app users. Unlike cookies, which are stored on a computer’s hard drive or your smartphone, web beacons are embedded invisibly on, for example, web pages or in HTML-based emails. Our third-party analytics providers may place web beacons on the Site that track what other websites you visit (both before and after visiting the Site). Our third-party analytics providers use information obtained from web beacons to help us improve our organization and the Site. We do not control the use of web beacons by third parties.

3.      Do Not Track Signals

We do not currently recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include "Do Not Track" instructions.
